GROWING TOGETHER – Our February Update

In January, I shared a look back at what we built in 2025—and I promised a Part 2 on what’s ahead.

As I watch momentum build—with our searchers acquiring businesses and founders growing theirs—I’m more confident than ever in our baseline thesis: we can harness the stories of entrepreneurs more effectively to create better-equipped entrepreneurs for their journeys. And as more people take a look inside what we’ve built, I keep hearing the same reaction: “This is awesome.”

I agree. And I also know it gets even better from here. Because what I see ahead is the next step: scale—not by simply doing more ourselves, but by partnering to extend the reach of what’s already working. In the spirit of Ubuntu: we will be because we are.

The problem for entrepreneurs isn’t lack of information—it’s lack of infrastructure.

Entrepreneurs can find information almost anywhere. What’s harder to find is infrastructure: real-time guidance, a network that compounds, and support that holds up when the process gets ambiguous (which is most of the time). That’s why I see 2026 as a year where our ecosystem can go farther—even faster—through collaborative partnerships. In Part 3, I’ll share the collaboration lanes we’re focusing on this year.

In the meantime, email me with one sentence: what do you think the ecosystem needs most in 2026? Want to join the effort, simply email as well. To learn more about our point of view scroll below.

Warm regards,
Karen

The problem isn’t lack of information—it’s lack of infrastructure

Entrepreneurs can find information almost anywhere. What’s harder to find is infrastructure: timely feedback, high-trust community, pattern recognition, and support that holds up when the process gets ambiguous (which is most of the time).

That’s the gap we’re building to fill—and it’s what our entrepreneurs consistently point to as the differentiator: not just content, but real-time guidance and a network that compounds.

And it’s why I see 2026 as a year where entrepreneurs can go farther—faster and with fewer preventable mistakes—through partnerships. When I think about collaboration, I think about the difference between:

  • Entrepreneurs building momentum versus stalling out,
  • Promising searchers becoming credible CEOs versus staying stuck in “learning mode,” and
  • This ecosystem growing in quality versus just growing in volume and noise.

What “partnership” means to us (and what it doesn’t)

In our world, partnership is about shared outcomes:

  • Better-prepared entrepreneurs,
  • Fewer preventable mistakes,
  • Stronger CEOs leading from Day 1, and
  • More durable small business ownership.

It’s not about slapping logos on a flyer; it’s about building the infrastructure that makes entrepreneurial success much more likely.
