July Newsletter

Hi, Search fund community member:

June flew by with a whirlwind of amazing events in the startup and acquisition entrepreneurship realms. Being around so many people seeking to invest in entrepreneurs looking to improve their communities felt like being at an oasis after traversing through a barren desert. While each endeavor has its unique touch, much of the advice for new entrepreneurs resonates in similar ways — remember to look before you leap, understand what financing entails for both your personal life and your company, and strive to build a business with excellent potential for a successful exit.

As I look forward to the rest of the summer, having just completed the EtA Guidebook for my training courses, my next adventure involves diving into another book project. Additionally, I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be hosting two meetups, first in Portland, Oregon today, and then in Charlotte in August.

Remember to pick up your summer reading for our Fall book club: Why Should White Guys Have All the Fun. I’ve spoken to so many searchers who were inspired by this book. I am looking forward to having the opportunity to read this summer.

I wish you a leisurely July brimming with quality time with family and friends.

 Warm regards,

Karen
