Hi, Search fund community member:
June is a time of gathering and celebration, and I’m looking forward to joining such a gathering at the Second Annual Black Commerce Conference. There, I will speak as a panelist about acquisition entrepreneurship. Let me know if you’ll be there. Additionally, I’m organizing No-Host Happy Hours for the search fund community during my travels to New York City, Toronto, and Portland, Oregon.
This month, I’m celebrating two personal milestones. First, I will graduate from the investor training program, Material Change Institute. Secondly, the Entrepreneurship through Acquisition (EtA) Guidebook is now print-ready for my students. I’ve always wanted to write a book, and it’s taken years of effort to create one that meets my standards. The EtA Guidebook is unique in its multidisciplinary approach to keep you, the searcher, at the center of your entrepreneurial journey. I use the pain points and lessons learned from countless searchers, operators, investors, and lenders to help aspiring acquisition entrepreneurs prepare for and plan out an effective and efficient search. Once searchers launch, the EtA Guidebook can be used as a reference manual as questions arise. The guide distills a lifetime of experience and nine years of search fund knowledge into an actionable, user-friendly resource. That’s why I am so proud to have the EtA Guidebook form the cornerstone of my EtA Launch Hub and TakeOff training programs.
Below, I have included videos about the EtA Guidebook and the latest 1 Minute News on the top industries researched by searchers in the USA, UK, and EU.
Hope you have a wonderful and joyful June filled with celebrations and meaningful connections.
Warm regards,
Karen
